About Us

The blog is a collection of stories produced by South Asian journalists who are fellows of the “Regional Project on South Asian Initiatives on Migrant Labour” organized by Panos South Asia.

The project aims to engage South Asian journalists (print, broadcast and online) on labour-related laws, international migrant labour rights and in increasing the frequency and quality of media coverage of migrant labour issues.

The objective of the project is to create and promote a migrant labour friendly environment by initiating a common South Asian voice for labour reforms.

The project is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC).
